Production is all about passion, creativity, and positivity – always finding a way to navigate the curve balls with charm and calm. Rachael Brand (Rach) is all this and a lot more. One of the most energetic, collaborative, and supportive leaders in our industry, Rachael has experience across every form of content there is and is sure to master any we haven’t seen yet.
Recently nominated for Best Executive Producer Lifestyle at AACTA for the Living Room, Rachael constantly demonstrates the value of understanding audiences and how best to engage and above all entertain them. This is how she has championed brand funded programming at Paramount in recent years, partnering with agencies and clients to create bespoke long form content and associated multi-platform campaigns for so many clients, including TNZ, Dell and Optus.
For the right shot and the best result Rach has been known to wrangle (non-venomous but very large) snakes in the South African Jungle, catch drones on remote Fijian sand dunes, elbow her way through Formula 1 media scrums and fry an egg on a Ute-tray in the hottest town in Australia, Marble Bar WA.
In her role as Executive Producer PBS, she is focused on celebrating and supporting the excellence of the multi-skilled content team as they grow and develop the studio’s offering of long form formats and commercial content. She will also continue to support young people in media through her involvement in Paramount’s global mentoring initiative as well as NGEN for MFA, the Career Trackers intern program, and Youth Off the Streets Careers expo. Rach is also an enthusiastic member of Paramount’s reconciliation Action Plan committee.
