Tell us a bit about your role? Where can we see your designs and do you have a favourite one?
I’ve been working at Paramount for about three and a half years. I’m a digital designer with a focus on the Channel 10 side of things. All of the 10 Play eDMS, Pause Ads and showpage artworks on 10 Play are created by our team.
My favourite briefs to work on are sales mocks and live ads, especially the one I did for Kraken Rum. I had a lot of fun animating the Kraken! (It was a kraken-good time).
What do you like best about your role and working at Paramount?
I’m a bit of a TV and movie buff so, I really enjoy all the aspects of my role. I often have pinch-me moments when I get to work on projects for shows and movies that I’m a big fan of, or grew up watching. I also have an amazing team and work with lots of lovely, talented people who regularly inspire me.
What made you join the RAP Working Group, and what are you currently working on?
There was an opportunity to help re-design the National Centre of Indigenous Excellence’s website, which I happily volunteered for. The project is a part of our Reconciliation Action Plan, so I joined the Working Group as well.
We’re currently still in the process of the re-design but it has been such a great experience so far.
I’m Indigenous, so to be part of the RAP Working Group and the NCIE project is really exciting. I’m looking forward to seeing what the team is going to achieve.
What are some of your favourite activities or hobbies outside of work?
As well as being a TV and movie buff, I love music. You can often find me at gig or vinyl hunting.
I also love to draw, read and garden, and if I’m not doing that, I’ll be rugged up on the couch watching the latest Paramount+ show 😉
What is your favourite show or movie from the Paramount ANZ catalogue (10, 10 Play, Paramount+, or Paramount Pictures)?
I have so many favourites! I love Gogglebox, Australian Survivor, The Offer, Forrest Gump, Avatar The Last Air Bender, 1883 and 1923.
