Music’s Biggest Global Celebration Streaming On Paramount+ From 6.00pm AEDT On Monday, 11 November.
MTV has announced that Rita Ora will host the 2024 MTV EMAs. Returning to the MTV EMA stage to a packed-out audience at Manchester’s Co-op Live on Sunday, 10 November, international, critically acclaimed singer-songwriter Ora will soon become the show’s first three-time host.
Rita Ora said: “I’m over the moon that I get to be back with my MTV family hosting the EMAs for the third time! The EMAs stage has become like another home for me, and this year’s show in Manchester is going to be absolutely incredible! We’ve got an amazing lineup of music performances and plenty of surprises in store. We’re all ‘mad fer it!.”
Now in its 30th year, music’s biggest global celebration will be staged for the first time in Manchester’s Co-op Live, marking its epic return to the UK. The 2024 MTV EMAs features a line-up of performances from global artists including Benson Boone, Raye, Shawn Mendes, Teddy Swims and The Warning. Additionally, Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale, plus screen stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Turner-Smith and Lucien Laviscount, will take to the stage as presenters.
MTV revealed nominations for the 2024 MTV EMAs earlier in the month, with Taylor Swift leading the pack with second nods including Best Artist, Best Video, Best Pop and Biggest Fans. Ariana Grande, Billie Eilish, Charli xcx and Sabrina Carpenter all scored five nominations each, appearing in categories such as Best Song, Best Video and Best Artist. Closely following with four nominations each are Ayra Starr, Beyoncé, Kendrick Lamar, LISA, plus first-time nominees Chappell Roan and Tyla.
Fans can vote now for their favourites across categories including Best Song, Best Artist and Best Collaboration at www.mtvema.com until 09:59 AEDT on Wednesday, 6 November.Plus, fans can also vote for the six nominees in the Best Australian Act category which includes: Confidence Man; Cyril; Kylie Minogue; Sia; The Kid LAROI and Troye Sivan. The Biggest Fans winners will be voted for at a later date on social via @MTVEMA.
The 2024 MTV EMAs will also be broadcast on Monday, 11 November on 10 Peach Comedy at 8.30pm and on 10 and 10 Play at 11.10pm.
