MasterChef Australia Serves Up Series Success Reaching 11.2 million Australians.

Last night, audiences gorged on the gripping Grand Finale with 1.78 million total national viewers consuming the epic contest that saw Victorian barista, Nat Thaipun, crowned the 2024 winner of MasterChef Australia.

The two-hour special also dished up last night’s #1 show in 25 to 54s and 16 to 39s.

The finale capped off a spectacular 16th season that has so far seen 11.2 million Australians devour this delicious series that will only see viewers grow as fans and foodies continue to stream MasterChef Australia on 10 Play.

The series also had the biggest audiences ever on 10 Play with BVOD audiences averaging 142,000 viewers up 29% year-on-year.

Fans of MasterChef Australia and lovers of fine dining were able to experience a unique pop-up restaurant and dining experience called ALUMNI, at Crown Melbourne, the first of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere.

The restaurant saw a rotating cast of MasterChef Australia alumni serving dishes from the cuisine they are best known for, with the 2024 winner, Nat Thaipun, starting her residency tomorrow, 18 July through to 4 August.

Last night saw audiences continue the MasterChef Australia conversation on social media with #MasterChefAU trending #1 in Australia.

The series also had incredible engagement across Facebook, Instagram, Tik Tok and X exceeding 300 million combined reach.
