Last night, fans, families and foodies were enthralled as Brent Draper took the title of MasterChef Australia 2023 in The Winner Announced that was watched by 1.04 million Australians.

 The Grand Finale was the #2 show in all key demos, setting the table for The Winner Announced as main course was the #1 show of the night in all key demos.

Throughout the season, MasterChef Australia was watched by a national total average audience of 806,000 and achieved its biggest live stream and BVOD audiences ever.

The power of the new VOZ ratings system has come to the fore with MasterChef Australia, showing the full picture of the true viewing audience with an average increase of 27% on overnight audiences with the inclusion live stream and BVOD, demonstrating the growth and power of digital viewers in Australia.

This season had the biggest audiences ever on 10 Play with live stream averaging 29,000 viewers up 32% on 2022, and BVOD averaging 81,000 viewers up 21% year-on-year.

This season also saw a global-first for the franchise with MasterChef Australia and Coles rolling out the smoky, sweet and very spicy, BarbeRue Sauce to Australian shelves.

The challenge-winning condiment gave audiences a taste of TV in their kitchens with the BarbeRue Sauce available for a limited time at Coles stores around Australia.

And fans took to social media to continue the conversation and share the love of MasterChef Australia with strong engagement and combined impressions on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter exceeding 108.6 million.
