Nicky Buckley The Second To Farewell I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
As quickly as they arrived, our celebs are leaving the jungle and returning to their glamourous lives, and this time it was Nicky Buckley who said goodbye to her fellow celebs.
Launching into the experience by elegantly grabbing a dangling star and leaping off a dam wall, the TV host also turned trash into treasure alongside Samantha Moitzi as they dumpster dived and managed to bring home 10 stars for their hungry campmates. Not a spitter or a quitter, Nicky did a spew-tiful job in the girls vs boys tucker trial, munching on pig eyeballs, goat anus, and bull testicles.
In camp Nicky dazzled the celebs with stories from life and the four decades she spent in front of the camera, including the headlines she made by appearing on TV pregnant, and the incredible story of giving birth to her second child at home when she went into labour unexpectedly.
Nicky’s time in the jungle was in support of a cause very close to her heart, Ovarian Cancer Australia. “I lost my Mum to Ovarian Cancer 20 years ago at 67 years old,” Nicky explained. “Unfortunately, after all these years there is still no early detection test for ovarian cancer, so I am passionate about raising awareness for the signs and symptoms for women to look out for.
“Ovarian Cancer Australia provides support in numerous ways to those living with ovarian cancer to ensure no woman diagnosed with the disease walks alone,” Nicky continued. “They also advocate for funding for support services and research into one day finding a cure.”
