The Cheap Seats Returns. Tuesday, 29 April On 10 And 10 Play At 8:40pm.
It’s time to take a comedic look at the week that was when The Cheap Seats returns to 10 and 10 Play on Tuesday, 29 April.
Bringing their millennial magic, co-hosts Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald are back to unpack the week’s biggest, boldest, and most bizarre headlines.
Politics, world affairs, sport, pop culture, celebrities behaving badly, hosts behaving even more badly – if it was broadcast, published, or simply swiped left on in the past seven days – it’s likely to appear on the show.
Melanie Bracewell said: “I’m delighted to join Tim at the desk for The Cheap Seats 2025! Five seasons in and we are still technically in the ‘work experience’ program at Channel 10. Every so often I have to go get Sandra Sully a cappuccino but I’m just grateful for the opportunity.”
Tim McDonald said: “It’s great to be back for another massive year of news. From federal elections to trade tariffs and just 2,655 days until the Brisbane Olympics! I haven’t watched the news since we finished in November, so I can’t wait to see what President Biden is up to in the White House. Is Toadie still on Ramsay Street?”
Joined at the desk by Cultural Correspondent Mel Tracina, and with special guests and celebs dropping in, the laughs will keep coming as the team quite literally breaks the news.
The Cheap Seats. Premieres Tuesday 29 April.
On 10 And 10 Play.
