Audiences Love 10’s Comedy Slate And There’s More To Come.

Network 10’s cracking comedy line up has taken audiences to task, checked their attention, gave them a view from the cheap seats, had them goggling and giggling at the box and will soon be opening the blue door and delivering pranks and impractical jokes.

The latest show to join 10’s comedy success was season 2 of Taskmaster Australia.

Last week, was the finale and the7-day viewing figures reveal 1.05 million Aussies were up for laughs and tasks in this hysterical episode that was also the #1 show in 16 to 39s.

This season, Taskmaster:

  • reached 6.1 million total national viewers,
  • had its biggest total audiences ever (576,000), up 11% on 2023 average,
  • had its biggest BVOD audiences ever (60,000), up 11% on 2023 average.

Rod Prosser, Chief Sales Officer, Paramount Australia said Taskmaster was a welcome addition to the raft of successful comedies on 10 and 10 Play.

Fan favourites Have You Been Paying Attention? and The Cheap Seats are also up showing Aussies love to laugh at the news, current affairs, pop culture and entertainment with rowdy podium punters or a panel that pokes fun at the week that was.

To date, Have You Been Paying Attention? has:

  • reached 7.5 million viewers
  • secured a 1.03 million national total audience, up 5% on 2023 average.
  • achieved its biggest audiences ever on 10 Play (119,000), up 31% on 2023 average.

Over on The Cheap Seats, the series has so far:

  • reached 7.08 million viewers,  
  • clocked up 555,000 for its series national total audience, up 2% on 2023 average
  • enjoyed its biggest BVOD viewers ever on 10 Play (42,000), up 31% on 2023 average.

Gogglebox Australia has already giggled onto our screens this year but there’s another sesh with the couch critics on the way with the 20th season premiering on Thursday, 15 August at 7.30pm on 10 and 10 Play.

This new season will build on the chuckles already established for Gogglebox Australia this year that has so far:

  • reached 5.44 million viewers
  • secured 707,000 national total audience,
  • taken #1 in its timeslot
  • achieved its biggest audiences ever on 10 Play (37,000), up 32% on 2023 average.

But there are even more laughs on the way with new seasons of Thank God You’re Here and The Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers both launching on 10 and 10 Play on Wednesday 14 August at 7.30pm and 8.30pm respectively.
