It reached 8.45 million Australians, and its total audience was up from 2023’s average. On 10 Play, it achieved its biggest audiences and was up 36% on 2023.

Have You Been Paying Attention? is TV’s #1 comedy show, reaching 4.4 million Australians season-to-date. Its VOZ national audience is up 4% on its 2023 average. It is also achieving its biggest ever 10 Play audiences, up 37% on 2023.
THE CHEAP SEATS UP 34%.
Comedians Melanie Bracewell and Tim McDonald, alongside their Cultural Correspondent Mel Tracina, cover all the important stories. The Cheap Seats is reaching 4.7 million total national viewers. It is achieving its biggest ever total national average of 576,000, up 6% on 2023. It is also achieving its biggest ever 10 Play audiences, up 34% on 2023.
MASTERCHEF AUSTRALIA UP 32%.
Ushering in three new judges to the kitchen, MasterChef Australia returned for another season celebrating food, culture and cooks. And viewers were hungry to take a bite, reaching 9.1 million total national viewers season-to-date. MasterChef Australia is also serving up its biggest ever audiences on 10 Play, up 32% on its 2023 average.
TASKMASTER AUSTRALIA UP 28%.
Illustrious Taskmaster Tom Gleeson and his devoted assistant Tom Cashman put Anne Edmonds, Jenny Tian, Josh Thomas, Lloyd Langford and Wil Anderson through their paces with a string of ludicrous challenges that leaves audiences chuckling for more. Taskmaster Australia is reaching 3.5 million total national viewers season to date. It is averaging its biggest ever total national viewers, 563,000 – up 8% on 2023. It is also achieving its biggest ever 10 Play audiences, up 19% year-on-year.
DEAL OR NO DEAL UP 26%.
Deal Or No Deal is Australia’s 6pm family-friendly viewing for all ages. Hosted by Australia’s most beloved TV presenters, Gold Logie winner Grant Denyer, this global mega-format is one of television’s most successful formats ever, with 325 productions worldwide. It is reaching 9.8 million total national viewers. Deal Or No Deal has lifted 10’s 6.30pm timeslot 26%.
GOGGLEBOX UP 18%.
The Goggleboxers were back for a season of dishing their candid opinions on the most popular shows on telly. This season reached 5.4 million total national viewers and was up 18% on 10 Play.
AUSTRALIAN SURVIVOR UP!
Australian Survivor boasts a unique and dedicated fan base that eagerly anticipates each season, and in 2024 they were rewarded with one of the best yet. The season reached 8.07 million total national viewers. It was the #2 commercial show on BVOD during its run, with over 360 million minutes viewed on 10 Play. It achieved its biggest 10 Play audiences ever, up 2% year-on-year.

10, 10 Play and Pluto TV fans continue to embrace live streaming, wholeheartedly. With a staggering increase of 61% in live streaming, 10 Play viewers can enjoy their favourite shows in real-time, including the exciting addition of Live with Pluto TV FAST channels. This enhanced streaming experience has further solidified 10 Play’s position as a frontrunner in the digital entertainment landscape.
FOOTBALL IS UP!
The CommBank Matildas have celebrated a record-breaking year on screens, including its Game 2 vs China PR which was 10’s biggest football audience ever! Match audiences for the CommBank Matildas on 10, 10 Bold and 10 Play are up over 115% year-on-year to record highs.
Together, the Subway Socceroos and CommBank Matildas matches have reached 6.4 million Australians so far in 2024.
The A-Leagues reached 5.6 million Australians in 2024 and set new viewing records. The Isuzu UTE A-League Men’s Grand Final reached 916,000 and was the biggest A-League match on 10 and 10 Play ever. Total national audience for Isuzu UTE A-League Men was up 17% on the 2022-23 season. The Liberty A-League Women also had its biggest ever digital audiences, with 10 Play viewing up 114% and Paramount+ viewing up 125%.
PARAMOUNT+ OPEN FOR BUSINESS.
Australia’s fastest growing subscription service has launched its “Basic (with ads) plan” as the lowest price point for consumers. Advertisers can investment in key Aussie titles such as Top Gear Australia, Last King of The Cross, Fake, and The Inspired Unemployed (Impractical) Jokers, as well as Football, and a mountain of content from MTV Studios, Showtime, Nickelodeon, Comedy Central, Paramount Pictures and more.
Paramount Australia continues to reach new heights with a pipeline of content on 10, 10 Play, Live TV with Pluto TV, and Paramount+. Tentpole shows such as I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! and Have You Been Paying Attention? have seen trend-bucking year-on-year growth.
10 Play continues its steady climb with its biggest year yet, with a 36% rise in audience numbers and a 61% surge in live streaming, further boosted by the integration of Pluto TV FAST channels.
Paramount+ continues its accelerated growth with a new ad-supported plan and a rich array of local and international content, while sports programming, including the record-breaking performances of the CommBank Matildas, the Subway Socceroos and the A-Leagues, has also driven significant audience engagement.
